Baseball Tournaments
Baseball teams from across the State of Illinois come to East Peoria to take advantage of the state-of-the-art facilities we offer at EastSide Centre. East Peoria baseball sports tournaments have come to be recognized for their fun atmosphere, lively competitions and for the overall great experience that is had by all who attend.
East Peoria baseball tournaments offer a wide range of age and skill levels. One of the premiere East Peoria baseball tournaments is the Illinois Elementary School Association's State Baseball Tournament. In this baseball tournament, the best junior high baseball teams in the state travel to East Peoria and compete against one another in the fall, usually during the end of September and into the beginning of October. EastSide Centre hosts tournaments for the Class 1A, 2A and 3A teams. Typically in each of the baseball tournaments there are eight title contenders, providing three rounds of competition in each level of play.
We are proud to offer a first-class facility for all the East Peoria baseball tournaments. EastSide Centre opened July 5, 1997 on the site of a former gravel pit located on a high bluff in the middle of East Peoria. Initially conceived as a local family sports and recreation center, EastSide has grown to become one of the premiere athletic and fitness facilities in the Midwest. While these facilities have hosted such high profile events as the NCAA Division II Conference Softball Championships, we are equally excited to offer our grounds for youth who are just discovering the joys of athletic competition.
The sport of baseball is tightly woven within the fabric of our American culture, and in East Peoria we strive to make our baseball tournaments as competitive and enjoyable as the sport was originally intended.

Program registration traditionally occurs during the first three Saturdays of February at the Fon du Lac Park District Administration Building. The player draft for all teams is generally in April, and the season runs from May through the end of July.
